The Galway City Water Conservation Stage 3 Watermain Rehabilitation Works – Phase 1 is planned to be completed in Q4 2019.

The main components involved in the Galway City Water Conservation Stage 3 Watermain Rehabilitation Works – Phase 1 are:

• Design, provision, construction, testing and commissioning of approximately 20km of PE100 and ductile iron watermain and in specific areas includes all valves, fittings, anchors blocks, connections, reinstatement and ancillary works
• Design, provision, installation and commissioning of new service pipes
• Installation and connection to boundary boxes
• Removal of existing redundant watermains, associated fittings and individual service pipes
